A new development has emerged around the upcoming film being developed by filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Just days after reports surfaced that Salman Khan has been handed the helm of the project, the latest update reveals that actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is also in talks to join the film.

The director duo, known as Raj and DK, are widely recognized for creating successful streaming series like The Family Man and Guns & Roses, while also backing films as producers. With their next venture, the filmmakers are reportedly aiming for a bigger cinematic scale, bringing together a unique blend of genres. According to a report in Mid-Day, Samantha is currently being considered for a key role in the project. A source told the publication, “Samantha is in high spirits. She shares a strong creative equation with the producers, and they feel she is perfect for the role.”
Earlier it was reported that Salman Khan’s role in the film will offer a new take on the superhero genre. The story is expected to mix humor with action while presenting the actor in an unconventional avatar. A source told IHNS, “Salman Khan will be seen as a superhero who wants to take off his cape and retire from saving the world, tired of doing the same thing over and over again. But circumstances don’t let him live in peace and keep pulling him into action again and again, ultimately pushing him into a bigger conflict. The story blends broad comedy with superhero beats, making for a high-concept superhero comedy.”
If Samantha comes on board, the project will mark an exciting collaboration between the actors, as well as her Hindi film debut. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently preparing for the release of his next film. battle of galwanWhich is based on real life events. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film stars Chitrangada Singh opposite Salman and is scheduled to release on April 17, 2026. The actor is also expected to collaborate with producer Dil Raju on another upcoming project, although further details about that film are under wraps.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, on the other hand, has an active list of projects ahead. She will be next seen in a Telugu action drama Mother Inti BangaramWhich is also his first film as a producer.
