The box office performance of Malayalam film Sarvam Maya is almost over. This fantasy horror-comedy entertainer was a huge hit. It earned Rs 150 crore at the worldwide box office in its 36-day theatrical run. Of this, a major part of Rs. 77.50 crores came from Kerala box office alone. With such an impressive performance at the box office, Sarvam Maya emerged as a blockbuster venture. It recorded around 49 lakh footfalls, the highest ever for Nivin Pauly, surpassing his previous best, Premam (48 lakh).
Backed by Firefly Films, Sarvam Maya emerged as the 8th highest grossing Malayalam film of all time at the worldwide box office and the 7th highest grossing Malayalam film in the state of Kerala. On the global front, the Nivin Pauly starrer left behind big films like Lucifer, Premalu and Pulimurugan. After a great theatrical run of almost 5 weeks, the film found its digital home on JioHotstar.
One of the major factors behind the blockbuster success of Sarvam Maya is its positive word-of-mouth. The film managed to impress the audience, which worked in its favor and its sales increased from the opening day.
