According to reliable sources close to the development, Shahid Kapoor is all set to start shooting for director Amit Rabindranath Sharma’s next film, Adal Badal, from October 2026. “The film is produced by Sunir Kheterpal with Amazon MGM, and is scheduled to go on floors in October 2026. There was back and forth about taking up this project due to budget, but now everything has aligned. Shahid Kapoor has signed the film apart from Rs 18 crore that is reserved in the backend if the film makes profits,” a source told IHNS.
The source also revealed that Shahid will be paired with Janhvi Kapoor in the film. The source further told us, “This is a first-time make, and the pair is excited to start shooting the film from October 2026. The film is based on the concept of soul swapping, and is touted to be a crazy entertainer.”
