It has been revealed that Ajay Devgan is indeed taking the franchise forward, as he is in advanced talks with Om Raut for another historical epic that celebrates the glory and valor of an unsung Maratha warrior. A source told”Ajay Devgan has been waiting for the right story to take the Anonymous Warrior franchise forward. When Om Raut came to him with the story of another anonymous Maratha warrior, Ajay immediately agreed to it. He is extremely excited and looking forward to doing the film.”
The source further revealed that Ajay has asked Om Raut and his VFX team to come back with the proposed budget. “He is going to do the film, but at the right price. It is a work in progress at the NY VFXwalla towards world-building of the film. In fact, they may even announce the film any time. Ajay is clear, he wants to celebrate the Maratha warrior on a national level without any compromise. Talks are on with top studios to finance the project.”
The source said that several meetings have taken place between Ajay and Om Raut and they are thoroughly considering the idea of this Unsung Warrior franchise. “This is Om Raut’s return to his roots. Ajay is a powerhouse of filmmaking, and Om is also keen to re-learn the entire process of roots filmmaking with Bigg Boss.”
