Our reliable sources have confirmed that Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are not a part of Amit Rabindranath Sharma’s next. A source shared with IHNS, “Shahid and Rashmika are doing Cocktail 2, and this is the only film they are doing together at the moment. While Shahid was offered this romantic comedy, he was not keen on doing another film after Cocktail 2, and so he decided not to even listen to the script.”
The source further added that Rashmika, on the other hand, was never offered any role in this project. “This is far from the truth. Rashmika’s diary is full of feature films in the coming year, and this film was not even offered to her. The fact is that Amit wanted to cast Shahid, but things did not work out and now he is considering other names.”
The film will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal and Jio Studios and the shooting timeline depends on the availability of the actors.
