But at the same time RamayanaManufacturers have taken an exception. The theatrical trailer is expected to be unveiled on July 18, i.e. about three and a half months before the release.

The source further said, “This is not any other Indian stalwart. Ramayana Has been established as a film with tremendous global appeal. So, as per global standards, the promotion started quite early and now, the trailer will also be released even though the film will release on Diwali. The idea is to spread the word about the film and create enough noise.”

The source further added, “The properties so far have served their purpose. Now, the trailer will further amp up the hype.”

Ramayana Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Laxman. It is directed by Nitesh Tiwari riot (2016) fame and produced by Namit Malhotra. The music is composed by AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer. It is a two-part saga, the first part of which will release on Diwali 2026. As for the second part, it will hit the big screens on Diwali 2027.
