Mumbai will come together on November 22 to honor the heroes of the 26/11 terror attacks and the families of the victims of the Pahalgam attacks at the Global Peace Honors 2025, an initiative of the Divyaj Foundation led by Amrita Fadnavis.

For Mrs Fadnavis, the event has a clear objective: to ensure that the courage and sacrifice of India’s martyrs are remembered with the respect they deserve. The vision behind the Global Peace Honors is to give their families a place of recognition and gratitude and to remind the country of the values for which these heroes stood. The event at the Gateway of India celebrates the country’s spirit of courage, unity and resilience.
Speaking about the initiative, Amrita Fadnavis said, “This evening is not just about memories, it is about gratitude. The heroes who fought for our country showed us what courage looks like. The Global Peace Honors is our way of saying that their legacy lives on.”
With Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan expected to participate in a special tribute segment dedicated to India’s bravehearts, the moment is expected to be one of the most powerful highlights of the evening.
Vikrant Massey will host the ceremony, while Tiger Shroff will dedicate a performance in honor of the martyrs. Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar and many other high-profile celebrities will also join in, joining citizens and dignitaries to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation.
The awards presented during the evening are designed to acknowledge acts of extraordinary courage and selfless service. There will be two special recognitions for the Global Peace Honors, National Bravery and Leadership Honors which will be given to those whose contributions have made a huge impact.
The Gateway of India, which was once a silent witness to the 26/11 tragedy, will become a beacon of hope as hundreds of lanterns will illuminate Mumbai’s skyline in collective remembrance.
