Yesterday, IHNS was the first to predict that Danube Group founder and chairman Rizwan Sajan will launch a tower named after Shah Rukh Khan at an event in Mumbai on November 14. Our news became true. Shahrukh himself was present at the launch of the skyscraper named Shahrukh’s by Danube and as expected, he made people laugh and touched hearts with his quotes.

Rizwan Sajan reveals a thoughtful gesture from Shahrukh that won hearts, “Once, I was returning from Mumbai. Luckily, Shahrukh and Pooja Dadlani were on the same flight. We greeted each other. I was sitting right behind him in the Emirates flight. I called my wife Sameera and told her about it. She is a big fan of his. She asked me to talk to her. Unfortunately, she is not well. So, she told me, ‘Please tell Shahrukh that I love him and he should pray for me.’ I had reservations about intruding on his privacy, but she insisted.
Rizwan further said, “I asked Pooja’s permission to talk to Shahrukh for 2 minutes. When the flight landed, Shahrukh called me. I gave him my wife’s message. Shahrukh, being polite and very nice as always, asked me when I would reach home. I told him I would reach home in half an hour. Meanwhile, my son Adil and Sameera were in London. I didn’t tell them anything. After reaching home, I put them on the line. Shahrukh then zoomed in on the call. But he talked to her not just for 5 minutes but for more than 30 minutes. He said, ‘Sameera, you will be fine.’
Rizwan said, “Once when I was in London, at 6 in the morning I had a dream that I was building this tower and I named it after Shah Rukh. Sameera immediately accepted the idea. Adele, Sana and my marketing team were also very excited. I then messaged Pooja and asked if it (building a tower named after Shah Rukh) was possible. After a few days, she said it was possible. The next day, I was at Shah Rukh’s house and we discussed the project. Finalized.”
The evening’s host Farah Khan laughed and said, “When Pooja says ‘it’s possible’, that’s when it’s possible!”
