Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty Kundra recently announced the closure of Bastian Bandra, one of Mumbai’s most prestigious Knightlife Dastavya, bringing an era to a poignant end. Known for hosting high-energy parties and making unforgettable memories for the patron, Bastian has been a symbol of Bandra glamor, music and cameradari. Meanwhile, the actress also claimed that Bastian at the top of another branch in the luxurious area of Lower Parel in Mumbai promises to pursue heritage with a new Vibe, ensuring that Bastian’s spirit grows in Mumbai’s party scene.

Sharing a hearty note on Instagram, Shilpa wrote, “This Thursday has been marked the end of an era because we give farewell to Bastian Bandra, one of the most prestigious places in Mumbai. A place that gave us countless memories, unforgettable nights, and moments that shape the nightlif of the city.”
To celebrate Bastian’s legacy, the actress revealed that a special evening would be cured to the nearest patron of the site, “One night, a night filled with indifference, energy and magic, Bastian stands one last time, celebrating everything.” Shilpa also confirmed that while Bastian Bandra would be closed, on Thursday night rituals, Archan Affair, will continue at the top in Bastian next week, will start a new chapter with new experiences.
Insiders in the industry suggests that the Kundra family closes amid the financial stress faced by the family. Shilpa and her husband Raj Kundra are currently entangled in a high-profile legal case. The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) has booked the couple for allegedly cheating Deepak Kothari, a Mumbai-based businessman worth Rs 60.4 crore in connection with the loan-cum-investment deal.
Reports indicated that Kothari on the pretext of expanding a business between 2015 and 2023, now on the pretext of expanding a business through the Best Deal TV Private Limited, but claimed that the funds were allegedly misused for personal expenses. An unknown third party has also been accused in connection with the case.
Eow is currently investigating the case, but the couple’s legal representatives have dismissed the allegations, stating that they are purely civil in nature. According to the lawyer, the dispute was postponed by NCLT Mumbai on October 4, 2024, saying that no criminal wrongdoing has been established.
