Producer Ekta Kapoor said, “Indian folklore has been a part of all of us. Now the time has come for us to bring a state-of-the-art VFX heavy and big screen experience. Weaving “Is going to be a whole new genre-breaker.”
Sidharth Malhotra said, “This is mine and Ekta’s third project together and she is most excited about it Weaving. I have never had a producer who could narrate a film to me from beginning to end.”
He also laughed while revealing about Panchayat season 5 before the official announcement, “I think they (Amazon Prime Video) are the first ones with Panchayat to bring the fifth season on Amazon Prime Video. Oh well, we won’t announce it yet!”
Talking about working with Tamannaah Bhatia, Ekta Kapoor jokingly said,my heart’s wish came true!” As for Tamannaah, she said, “Working with Sid was a long, long dream and I’m so happy that I got the chance to work with him. He is a really good actor.”
Tamannaah Bhatia further said, “I have grown up watching commercial films. Weaving Is in the same field and also has a strong spirit. Our Indian folk songs are also at the forefront in this.
