Prabhas turns 46 today. Fans are waiting for something to come out from his much-awaited film Spirit. And now, it’s officially out! Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga officially announced Spirit with a tag line, ‘One Bad Habit’. The video contains no visuals, but rather a conversational voice-over with text, similar to the announcement of Vanga’s last outing, Animal.
Giving a special gift to Prabhas on his birthday, Sandeep Reddy Vanga wrote, “Happy Birthday Prabhas Anna. Here’s a ‘sound-story’ straight from the heart in five Indian languages, for every fan who is his fan.”
The announcement trailer starts with the voice of Prakash Raj, who sounds like Prabhas’ character. From their conversation it seems that Prabhas is playing the character of an IPS officer who is now in jail. Prakash Raj can play the role of SP (Superintendent of Police). His character asks Prabhas’ character to walk fast and wear a ‘prisoner’ uniform, as Prabhas is on remand.
In the video, Prabhas can be heard saying, ‘Mr. Superintendent, I have a bad habit since childhood. To which Prakash Raj shouts, ‘What?’. Then Prabhas replies, ‘I have only one bad habit since childhood.’ Skip to next scene: The ‘Spirit’ title appears on the screen.
The film is ready to go on floors soon. It will be produced by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s brother Prannoy Reddy Vanga and Bhushan Kumar under their respective production banners. Spirit is expected to hit the big screens in 2027.
