Suriya recently announced his next film with Aavesham director Jeethu Madhavan, tentatively titled Suriya47. As the shooting of the film has started after the puja celebrations, reports suggest that it will be made on a budget of Rs. 22 crores.

According to online reports, Suriya is being made for Rs 47. The budget is Rs 22 crore, excluding the remuneration of Suriya, who is also producing the film. However, this information is just speculation at this point and has not been confirmed by the manufacturers.
Although the film is still in the early stages of production, reports indicate that the project has already closed deals worth Rs 75 to 80 crore for its digital, music and overseas rights. Similar to Jeethu Madhavan’s previous film, Suriya47 is expected to have a quirky and humorous story, reminiscent of Fahadh Faasil’s Awesham.
The tentatively titled project stars Nazriya Nazim Fahadh in the lead role along with actors Naslane, John Vijay, Anandraj and others in lead roles. Manjummel Boys composer Sushin Shyam will also be handling the soundtrack and background score for the film, marking his debut in Tamil cinema.
The upcoming film is being produced by Suriya under the banner of his new production company, Jhagaram Studios.

Suriya will next be seen in the fantasy action entertainer Karuppu. Directed by RJB (RJ Balaji), the film is based on the story of a lawyer who gets possessed by the deity Karuppu to deliver justice.
Along with Trisha Krishnan in the lead role, the film also stars Indrans, Naty Subramaniam, Swasika, Shivada, Anagha Maiya Ravi, Supreeth Reddy and many others in pivotal roles. Sai Abhyankar works as a musician.
Additionally, the actor also has Suriya46 in the pipeline, directed by Lucky Bashkar filmmaker Venky Atluri. Along with the Soorarai Pottru actor, the film also stars Raveena Tandon and Mamita Baiju in lead roles.
