Thamma box office day 3: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer crosses Rs 50 crore mark

Thamma targeted an estimated Rs 10.50 crore to Rs 11 crore on its third day, taking its three-day collection to Rs 51 crore at the Indian box office. The film should aim for big collections on Saturday and Sunday as it is registering good occupancy at multiplexes. Ideally, it should equal or surpass its opening day figure in the last two days of the weekend. Taking advantage of its Tuesday release, the film has got an extended 6-day opening weekend. As per the current trends, the vampire comedy drama is expected to make Rs. Should be collected. 80 to 85 crores by the end of Sunday.

Before this, it is expected to cross the three-digit mark on Monday or Tuesday. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, this film is making the record of best occupancy in Delhi-UP, Rajasthan and Mysore. Since there are no big releases in Hindi till Ajay Devgan’s De De Pyaar De 2, Thamma will enjoy a clean performance till mid-November.

Considering the cast and cost, Thamma Maddock is expected to emerge as another winner from the horror comedy universe. For the record, the previous MHCU film, Stree 2, had gone above Rs. 600 crore mark, is shaping up to be an epic blockbuster. While another film from Cosmos, Munjya earned a solid Rs. 100 crores. It is expected that Thamma will find a middle ground and become the second highest grossing film of popular cinema.
