Sachin Sanghvi, the film’s music director and half of the music composer duo Sachin-Jigar, has been accused of sexual harassment by a 29-year-old woman.

According to a report in India Today, the complainant alleged that Sanghvi sexually harassed her after offering her a role in a music video and even promising her marriage. After the FIR was filed, Sachin was taken into custody, but was later released on bail.
In a statement to the media, Sanghvi’s lawyer, Aditya Mithe, described the allegations as “absolutely baseless and baseless” and said his client’s detention was “illegal”. He added, “There is absolutely no merit to the case. We intend to fully and vigorously defend ourselves against all allegations.”
Sachin has not yet commented publicly on the matter and his Instagram account @soulfulsachin has been deactivated. However, the official account of Sachin-Jigar duo is active.
This is not the first time that a project of Maddock Films has been embroiled in a similar controversy. Last year, during the successful operation of woman 2Choreographer Jani Master (real name Sheikh Jani Basha), who worked on the song TonightBut a former assistant choreographer had accused him of sexual harassment. The victim, who was 21 at the time of the filing, alleged that she faced harassment and assault from Jani Master for six years when she was a minor.
Following his complaint, Jani Master was arrested by the Cyberabad Police in Goa on September 19, 2024, under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. He later confessed to the attack and on October 24, 2024, the Telangana High Court granted him regular bail with the conditions of cooperating in the investigation and not contacting the victim.
