Pet Detective is scheduled to release on OTT platform ZEE5 and will start streaming on November 28, 2025. The official update was shared by the platform on its social media handle, which read, “Ultimate Comedy Festival – Pet Detective to premiere on 28th November on ZEE5.”

Despite having no interest in detective work, Tony accepts the job to impress his girlfriend, Kaikeyi’s father, who is an army veteran. Meanwhile, his former classmate Rajath, now an inspector, is also determined to win over Kaikeyi.
Hoping to get her hand in marriage, Tony pursues a bigger case while he continues to investigate missing pets. However, things take a turn for the worse when he unexpectedly finds himself involved in a horrific crime he has never committed before.
The film explores whether Tony is able to use his skills to solve the case and how these events affect his personal life.

The action-comedy venture is directed and co-written by Praneesh Vijayan with Jai Vishnu. It is produced by Gokulam Gopalan and Sharaf U Dheen under the banner of Sri Gokulam Movies and Sharaf U Dheen Productions.
The film’s musical tracks and score are composed by Premam fame Rajesh Murugesan, while the cinematography is by Anand C. Chandran. Additionally, Abhinav Sundar Nayak, director of Mukundan Unni Associates, serves as editor.
