Scammers are coming with a new strategy continuously to cheat people. A scam that has been roaming for months is the “father’s friend” scam, where fraudsters pose as a friend’s friend or acquaintance, often claim to require financial support or request sensitive information. However, recently, a clever young girl replaced the tables on a scammer in an effective way.
In a video shared on X, the girl is seen entangled with a fraud, who claimed to be her father’s friend, and pretended to play together. The scamster tried to convince him that his father had asked him to transfer money to his UPI account, and the girl ruined the scammer and maintained the acting. The cheater confidently told that he would send him Rs 12,000 through UPI.
He earlier said that he sent Rs 10,000, and sent him fake SMS on his phone. The girl saw that the message came from a personal number, not from her bank. The man then said that he accidentally sent him Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 2,000, tried to return him for Rs 18,000. Quick-Penching Girl showed to edit fake SMS that she sent back Rs 18,000 and sent it. “There, I have also sent you 18,000 rupees,” she says.
The scamsters were caught by the guard, and accepted the defeat, saying that before hanging “Main Aapko, Beta”.

The girl’s quick thinking and clever response affected the scammer and impressed the scammer.
One user wrote, “Very smart girl with great IQ.”
Another comment, “It was a great appearance of the mind.”
One third said, “Why do people believe in SMS, instead of investigating in UPI app, which is not much work.”
This incident demonstrates the importance of awareness and caution while dealing with suspicious calls or messages.
