Tourist Family director Abhishan Jeevinth is soon set to make his debut as a lead actor. Earlier, the filmmaker-actor was set to tie the knot on October 31, 2025.
Abhishan Jeevinth married his girlfriend Akkila at the popular Hanu Reddy Boathouse Gardens in the posh Poes Garden area of Chennai. The exciting new chapter of their lives was celebrated with great pomp and was attended by the couple’s family members and close friends.

Earlier, Tourist Family producer Magesh had made headlines after gifting Abishaan a BMW car as a wedding gift. Now, the filmmaker is all set to begin a new phase in his life, with his first film as an actor being his first release after marriage.
According to reports, many famous names from the Tamil film industry, including Sasikumar, Sivakarthikeyan, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Simran, Anaswara Rajan and producers Soundarya Rajinikanth, Mahesh Raj Basilian, Arun Vishwa and Shinesh were present.
Apart from this, directors Poo Sasi, Ranjith Jayakody, Shanmugapriyan, Prabhu Ram Vyas and Madan, composer Sean Roldan, lyricist Mohanraj and editor Bharat Ram were also reportedly present at the wedding.
For those unaware, the director-actor had earlier proposed to his girlfriend Akkila during the Tourist Family pre-release event.

After the success of Tourist Family, Abhishan is all set to make his debut as a lead actor in the upcoming film co-produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth. The film is said to be a romantic drama starring Anaswara Rajan in the lead role, marking her debut in Tamil cinema.
Directed by Madan, the film stars Shreyas Krishna as cinematographer and Shawn Roldan as music composer. Recently, OTT giant Netflix announced that it has acquired the digital rights of the film.
