Malayalam superstar Tovino Thomas’ much-awaited period drama Pallichattambi It is set for a worldwide theatrical release on April 9, 2026, the makers announced on Tuesday with the unveiling of the first-look motion poster. The big budget film directed by Dijo Jose Antony will be released in all languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Jointly produced by World Wide Films and C Cube Brothers Entertainment, Pallichattambi It’s a significant achievement for Thomas, who appears in a striking new avatar in the motion poster released online earlier today. Written by S Suresh Babu, this period tale takes the audience to the 1950-60s, blending historical texture with dramatic plot.
The film also stars Kayadu Lohar in the lead role, supported by Vijayaraghavan, Sudhir Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam and Prashanth Alexander, among others. Set against a wide backdrop, the production aims to highlight the cultural ethos of the era through subtle design and cinematography.
Tijo Tomei handled the film’s cinematography, while acclaimed composer Jake Bejoy is responsible for the musical score. Editing is by Srijit Sarang, with Dilip Nath handling the production design. The technical team also includes costume lead Manjusha Radhakrishnan and make-up designer Rashid Ahmed, while Meghshyam and Thanzeer are on board as associate producers.
In addition to the main production team, Pallichattambi Renit Raj and Kiran Raphael are credited as lead associate directors, with Sync Cinema on the sound design and Yellowtooths handling the poster design.
