Vanga recently attended a screening Dhurandhar: Revenge At Allu Arjun’s theater in Hyderabad, along with Prabhas, who is set to headline his upcoming directorial, Soul. After watching the film, the filmmaker went to X to share his views and defend the makers.

In her post, Vanga wrote, “Writers and actors built careers on propaganda and the industry remained silent like cats. Now the same clan makes fun of the bigots. You can’t call yourself a liberal if your first instinct is to make fun. I don’t know when the truth started being labeled propaganda… These are strange times.”

Responding to the message, director Aditya Dhar shared a note of appreciation for Vanga’s support and conviction. I’ve always noticed how you support your cinema without any doubt or noise.”
