‘Tu Ya Main’ starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor in lead roles has collected Rs. 1 crore in its second weekend. Its associated with Rs. Earning Rs 4.25 crore in the first week, the survival thriller’s total collection stands at Rs. 5.25 crores in 10 days.
Backed by Color Yellow Productions and Bhanushali Studios, Tu Ya Main has so far not registered the kind of growth it needed to. Crocodile movie is expected to crawl with significant decline on weekdays from today. Based on the current trend, the film will not be able to last long at the box office.
For now, it is looking to close its entire theatrical run under Rs. Earning Rs 10 crore at the domestic box office. Although the film received a slightly better reception than its rival release O’Romeo, it still failed to show any increase in ticket sales. Sadly, audiences now consider such films as OTT films, which is why they don’t bother going to theaters to watch such films. To save the dying business of such small/medium budget films, producers need to extend the 8-week OTT window to about 6 months.
