Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma have reportedly invested in prime real estate near Mumbai by purchasing land worth Rs 38 crore in Alibaug, Maharashtra. According to a PTI report, the couple has purchased around 21,000 square meters of land in the coastal city, which will further expand their growing real estate portfolio.

According to reports, the transaction was registered recently, with stamp duty and registration fees amounting to several crores of rupees, indicating the scale and value of the investment. While neither Virat Kohli nor Anushka Sharma have publicly commented on the purchase, the pair is known to make long-term, well-considered investments in various sectors, including real estate and startups.
Alibaug has emerged as a favorite destination for luxury homes and weekend retreats, especially among celebrities, business leaders and industrialists. Its better connectivity with Mumbai through road and sea routes has further enhanced its appeal as a premium residential and leisure centre.
