Stranger Things 5 is just weeks away from its finale, and the cast is talking about their current thoughts ahead of the show’s highly anticipated end. Speaking to Time magazine, actor Finn Wolfhard compared it to the famous world of Game of Thrones, which was thrown into turmoil after the release of the last installment. While having an equally dynamic fan base, the cast and crew have expressed concern over violent reactions.

“Honestly, I think everyone was pretty worried,” Finn Wolfhard shared. “Just like Game of Thrones fell to pieces in the final season, we’re all going, ‘We hope that kind of thing doesn’t happen.’ But then we read the script. We knew it was something special. The actor is referring to the widely divisive reaction that the show’s eighth and final season faced following its unsatisfactory ending. While many people started criticizing the writers, directors, and main creators of the show, it was the actors who faced the full wrath of charged fans who could not believe or accept the ending.
In its 4th season so far, and with the 5th season releasing in three parts at the end of next month, the series is eyeing a highly anticipated finale. With all of its major characters and the return of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, the party has a lot to deal with. As the Upside Down is once again thrown into chaos, Eleven, Mike, Will, Lucas and Dustin, as well as Max, who is in a coma, have to face Vecna once again.
