Neelam Kothari has recently publicly slammed an airline after she had an extremely tragic experience during a Toronto-Mumbai flight. The actor shared on social media that the journey turned into an ordeal due to long delays and a serious medical emergency onboard, with little or no assistance from the airline’s cabin crew.

Neelam revealed in her tweet that the flight was delayed by more than nine hours, adding to the troubles of the passengers. However, matters escalated when she fell seriously ill on air. According to her account, she fainted after having the meal and had to be helped back to her seat by a fellow passenger. Despite the incident, Neelam claimed that there was no medical follow-up or even basic check-up done by the crew for the rest of the flight.
Expressing his disappointment, he wrote that he tried to contact the airline’s customer service after landing but received no response. Calling the situation unacceptable, Neelam urged the airline to urgently address the matter, and highlighted that she felt a complete lack of accountability and care during a medical emergency.
The incident also sparked an unpleasant exchange online. One social media user dismissed her complaint with a comment that read, “Guess this is your problem. But let me try to make something out of it.” Neelam did not let the comment go further and reacted sharply saying that if the same situation had happened to the user or someone close to him, the reaction would have been very different.
