According to our sources, Aamir has agreed to do Ashneer Grover’s biopic. The story of BharatPe founder and his role in the startup world has impressed the Bollywood superstar. “Aamir has read it and loved it; he’s doing this film. It’s in the pre-production stage. It’s also very relevant because Ashneer is a hugely popular person among today’s audience,” the source tells BH.
Ashneer’s story is already in the form of a book with that title. ‘Duplicity: The hard truth about life and start-ups’. The judge of Shark Tank India himself had said on social media platform X that work on the film is going on.
He was also asked in various interviews who he would like to see in his biopic on the big screen, to which he said that the first thought is to cast the Khans or Akshay Kumar, but he is not biased towards actors, as he truly believes that the story is the hero, so any actor who can do justice to it.
