Actress Shraddha Kapoor is reportedly set to play the role of Madhuri Jain Grover in BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover’s upcoming biopic, which is expected to star Aamir Khan in the lead role. Filmmaker Rahul Modi is developing this film.

According to a report in Mid-Day, Kapoor has been associated with this project since the initial stages. A source told the publication that it was decided early in development that she would play the lead role and had closely monitored the script’s development over time.
The film is reportedly based on Grover’s journey as an entrepreneur and the controversies surrounding his exit from BharatPe in 2022 after allegations surfaced that he and his family members had misused company funds. Madhuri Jain Grover served as the company’s controlling head before its termination in the same year.
Modi has been working on the script for almost three years. The filmmaker previously contributed as a writer sonu ke titu ki sweety (2018). She is also rumored to be in a relationship with Kapoor.
Speculations about this project gained momentum recently when reports said that Aamir Khan is considering Ashneer Grover’s biopic as his next film.
