Plot
Sarah and David, two single individuals at the start of the thirties, meet at the marriage of a friend. After brief presentations, they become curious about each other and find themselves in a way in a long journey together which presents them to the past of the other person who shaped them. In unusual methods, their lives have been linked to each other for so many years, leading to this very trip together.
Two people, incredibly attracted from each other, but rushing to go further, the premise of the long term a big daring journey is done a bit like its name – for too long. The film leads to a flip through the pages of the life of two adults who are initially very clear, but begin to appear more identical than time passes. A long -awaited release, marking Margot Robbie’s first film since the Barbie star, a big daring journey, fell as the actress features in a new agreement alongside Colin Farrell. Here is what we thought about it.
What works for a big daring journey
To be honest, not much. The film begins on a predictable line of conduct for the two tracks meeting during an event and exchange attractive looks and dialogues until they are too much to be just passers -by. Thus a series of bizarre experiences follows because they are pushed together during a trip to an unknown destination while living through the moments of their past. The film manages to bring a brilliant cinematography to the screen, thanks to the constantly evolving POVs and the rapid but perceptible changes in the parameters of each phase of their life.
The set and accessories teams have done a fabulous job to give life to the scenario with meticulous attention which was transcended on the screen. From moments to the past to conversations between the characters in a car in progress, their use and their representation of the cramped space The Xuelle Tension in the air were remarkable on several occasions.
Which does not work for a big daring journey
Everything left was an incredibly long trail to testify. The story was so clumsy and not in the way that makes you curious, but in a way that lets you ask who decided to approve the project. Perhaps a good reading on paper, the intrigue does not threaten or softens, never invites the emotion of the spectator or does not make an intriguing watch. The execution time of almost 2 hours makes you straighten your watch more than a few times, and you still have to question what is the purpose of the film.
He tries too hard to make you love or at least appreciate the kind of people who lead history, but they are never consistent, always whining and who are not hard on the screen. A big daring journey attempts to play a scene similar to a predestination, only to make it so unconvincing and almost comical instead of being emotional. It fades in another very ambitious projects that have been ruined due to too many opinions and not enough control.
Actor performance in a big daring trip
The return of Margot Robbie on the big screen as Sarah after having colored the pink world as a barbie before, then taking the rear seat in an executive role does not produce the coveted result. Everything, including his hair, suit and makeup, looks like a farce of observation, prohibiting the spectator to absorb the character. In addition, its delivery of dialogue is so forced, it is almost mechanical. You wonder if his barbie flow was natural after all.
Colin Farrell is forgettable despite his demanding aura otherwise. A big daring journey manages to make it appear unwanted, and we hope that he at least appreciated the shooting, because otherwise, this film could just as easily have brought a replacement to do his job.
Final verdict of a big daring trip
The film is magnificent, we will agree, but that’s all there is. This film does not have the passion to be significant and only banks on its Big Star names to try a successful race. There is not much to withdraw from it, except a few jumping fears which bring a momentary excitement and a single romantic scene for those who look. If you have too much time on your hands, you may not want to check a big daring trip. He has too many doors and not enough answers.
