Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently working on his next film, Akhanda 2. Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the film was initially planned for the release on September 25, 2025, coinciding with Dusshera, but it seems that fans will have to wait a little longer.
Akhanda 2 postponed from the exit from Dusshera
Taking on their official round on social networks, the manufacturers of Akhanda 2 published a statement announcing the postponement of the film from its original release date on September 25.
The message said: “Akhanda 2 brings back the successful combination of” God of the masses “Nandamuri Balakrishna and the director Boyapati Sreenu, a duo celebrated to redefine the artists of mass action and create some of the most emblematic moments of Telugu cinema.”
“For a film of this scale, the re-registration, the VFX and the entire post-production process require meticulous attention and therefore require an additional time to present the film to its best, taking into account the weight of expectations that Khanda 2 carries after the successful success of the first part,” they added.
The declaration continued by saying that while the crew works tirelessly 24 hours a day to deliver the best product, the film will be postponed from the original release date. In addition, a new release date will be announced in due time.
The manufacturers have concluded and written: “We are fully determined to exceed all expectations and give the public a theatrical experience that is worth a wait. Akhanda 2 will not only be a film, it will be a film festival. ”
