Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has sold two residential units in the Oberoi Sky City project in Mumbai’s Borivali East for a combined price of Rs 7.1 crore, according to property registration documents obtained by CRE Matrix.

The transaction was registered on June 2, 2026 and involved the sale of two apartments, which the actor had originally purchased about nine years ago. The latest deals reflect the continued appreciation of residential real estate in the suburb and mark another addition to Kumar’s growing list of property transactions in recent years.
According to the documents, the carpet area of the large apartment is 1,101 sq ft and it was sold for Rs 5.75 crore. Stamp duty of Rs 28.75 lakh had to be paid on the transaction. The property also includes two designated car parking spaces.
The second unit, located on the same floor, measures 252 sq ft and was sold for Ra 1.35 crore. The buyer paid stamp duty of Rs 6.75 lakh, and the deal also includes one car parking space.
Both the properties were purchased by Suvarna Rupeshkumar Sakpal through separate transactions registered on June 2.
Property records show that Akshay Kumar had acquired the apartment from Inline Realty Pvt Ltd in November 2017. The larger unit was purchased for Rs 3 crore, while the smaller apartment was bought for Rs 67.55 lakh. The latest sale indicates a substantial increase in value over the past few years.
According to reports, neither Akshay Kumar nor the buyer could be contacted for comment regarding the transaction.
Apart from his successful film career, the actor has built a reputation for making strategic investments in real estate. Their recent transactions highlight the strong demand for premium residential properties in the western suburbs of Mumbai and the significant price appreciation seen in the market over the last decade.
