Reflecting on the delay, the filmmaker said, “Some films have a horoscope. I agree that there is a horoscope. Sometimes a film gets made early, sometimes it gets made late. But Inshallah, we all are trying to make this film.”
His statement comes after a turbulent phase of the project. In March 2024, producer Boney Kapoor announced the new cast for the sequel, which included Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. The announcement created a lot of excitement among fans who had been waiting for the Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan starrer for years.
