Attack on stage at Diljit Dosanjh’s San Francisco concert, protestor carrying Khalistan flag arrested mid-show

Diljit Dosanjh’s high-energy concert at the prestigious Chase Center in San Francisco, California was briefly disrupted when a pro-Khalistan protestor allegedly breached security and climbed onto the stage waving the Khalistan flag. The incident occurred during one of Diljit’s back-to-back weekend performances as part of his ongoing Aura World Tour, and has since garnered widespread attention on social media.

A video of the concert quickly went viral, in which Diljit is seen dancing on the stage with full enthusiasm and suddenly his eyes fall on a person holding the flag of Khalistan who is dancing dangerously close to him. The singer immediately stopped, walked away from the man, and within moments, security quickly moved in, restrained the man and escorted him off the premises. Additional video circulating online showed local police officers detaining the man. According to reports, the man was arrested after being removed from the venue.

This is not the first time that Diljit’s international concerts have been targeted by pro-Khalistan activists. In April, during the same Aura 2026 tour in Canada, a group of supporters allegedly entered the concert venue waving separatist flags and chanting pro-Khalistan slogans, which were removed by security staff.

After the Canada incident, Diljit broke his silence by giving a strongly worded message in Punjabi on Instagram Stories. “Standing outside and protesting is something anyone can do. But if you come inside and try to harass my fans, it will not be tolerated. If someone brings a banner or a flag, it usually means they want to show where they come from and that they support me. But if you stand outside with the same banner and abuse my fans, and then come inside and try to do the same thing, it will not be tolerated,” He wrote strongly.

The singer moved forward, making his position crystal clear. “It’s not about any banner or flag. The real issue is your intention behind it. I told the security that anyone trying to disrupt the event should be picked up and thrown out. I never said anything against any banner, so don’t spread fake things. I have been avoiding this issue since last year but not anymore. Thank you. Love and peace.”
