Bengal files, led by Vivek Ranjan Agnihtri, are in trouble at the box office. The film could not win the essential traction for its successful theatrical race. Released on December 5 alongside Baaghi 4 and The Conjuring: Last Rites, the drama of the political period opened with Rs 1.35 net and finished its opening week at Rs 9.65 crore at the box office. The film recorded a good trend during the opening week, but it could not continue the same week.
With Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Simrat Kaur, Namashi Chakraborty, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Dibye Bhattacharya, and others, the Bengal files added Rs 2.85 Tally crore in the second weekend. He also experienced a massive drop and added RS 45 Lakh for the three consecutive days, without growth Tuesday when the price of tickets was subsidized. The estimates suggest that the film has recorded a 30% drop today.

The film Vivek Ranjan Agnihtri recorded a drop of 30% today during its second Thursday and collected Rs 28 Lakh at Rs 30 Lakh. The total CUME of Bengal files in two weeks reached Rs 14 crores net at the Indian box office.
With Jolly LLB 3 and Nishaanchi to come this weekend, Bengal files should lose most of the screens. He will crawl from now on and put an end to all his theatrical race on a disappointing note.
