Big box office: Despite no discount on tickets, Ranveer Singh’s film will be released in UP on Tuesday.

The bullies want to invest more than Rs. Earning Rs 24 crore at the Indian box office on the fifth day. Even though there were no discounts on movie tickets today, as has been the case on recent Tuesdays, the movie still managed to grow by about 15 percent, which is either due to A) additional viewers coming in habituated to cheap tickets or B) the movie gaining momentum in demand due to the hype among the people.

Anyhow, it’s a great number for the film, taking its total to Rs. 136 crore nett. The first week is now on track to collect more than Rs. 170 crore nett, possibly Rs. Close to. 175 crores. This is an excellent result for a film that looked like it would start in the mid-teens in pre-sales, and of course, with all the commercial limitations that exist for a film of this style and genre.

Based on the trend, the film is sure to cross Rs 1 crore. 300 crore nett mark and possibly ready for Rs. More than 400 crores. This will be helped by the holiday period at the end of the month and there is no major competition. The film can easily run till Border 2 releases on Republic Day next month.

This is the picture at face value. As far as how much of the collection is organic, it is difficult to assess. This still includes feeding, whether the volume is at the same level as on the weekend or has been slightly reduced is difficult to say. Logically, since the film is now picking up its pace, there would be no reason to maintain heavy feeding. Also, it cannot be withdrawn suddenly without unnatural decline, so it is more likely to reduce gradually, with collections returning to normal by the second weekend.

The producers of the film showed great confidence in the film and invested their resources in a film of this kind, which had limitations commercially. There was confidence in the marketing too, as they kept a lot under wraps, giving audiences a chance to experience it fresh in theatres. Perhaps he grew cold and ended up losing some of his confidence, becoming too busy making box office numbers. This has damaged the film’s positivity in the industry which would have brought organic growth in the trend.

If one looks at the overseas box office, there is appreciation for the film, which displays an extraordinary trend across the board. The impression is that this is the case in India too, but it is not certain to what extent.

Following are the box office numbers of Dhurandhar in India:
