Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 is scheduled for the first on October 5, 2025, with a large launch. The episode of the Grand Launch, organized by Vijay Sethupathi, will be available at 6 p.m. on Star Vijay TV and Streaming on Jiohotstar.
This season of the show should present a space theme with futuristic elements incorporated into the design of the house.

As the format of the show should remain consistent with the previous seasons, the official list of competitors will be revealed during the first episode.
According to several reports, the expected candidates include: Cooku with the reputation of Comali Kani Thiru, creator of Diwakar social media, model and content creator Aurora Sinclair, actor-director Praveen Gandhi, the debate speaker Kongu Manjunadhan, Soap Opera Star Vinoth Babu, Standup Comedian Vikkals Vikram and much more of things to join.

Bigg boss season 8
Bigg Boss season 8 was broadcast from October 6, 2024 to January 19, 2025. The season marked the beginnings of Vijay Sethupathi as a host, succeeding Kamal Haasan, who resigned because of his cinematographic commitments. Haasan had hosted the show for seven consecutive seasons since its creation.
The 8th season of the show had a Boys vs Girls theme and ended with a grand finale on January 19, 2025. The show had Muthukumaran Jegatheesan as winner, actress Soundariya Nanjundan becoming the 1st finalist. The other finalists included Vishal, Pavithra and Rayan as the following finalists.
A notable highlight of the last season was the performance of competitor Jacquline Lydia in the reality TV show.
The television actress had marked history in the Boss Bigg by becoming the most nominated candidate of the Indian Bigg Boss franchise. She was nominated every week during her 15 -week stay in the house and was always saved by the public.
