Ayushmann Khurrana had an interesting conversation with journalist Mayank Shekhar on Day 1 of the Silver Jubilee Edition FICCI Frame 2025 at a five-star hotel in Mumbai on his choice of films and much more. Ayushmann gave an interesting answer when asked about his love for ‘hybrid films’, that is, films that are mainstream, but at the same time, they also push the envelope and challenge the status quo.

Ayushmann Khurrana said, “I have always done hybrid films from Day 1. It was my staple, be it Vicky Daat Or Dam laga ke hisha Or good luck series. When you look at it through my lens the risk-to-reward ratio is very different because these movies are not very expensive. They are low budget for budget films and high on content. That’s it risk toh le hi sakte hai (smiling). At the same time, it gives you a different high because I come from a street theater background. While doing street plays in Chandigarh, we used to mix entertainment with social issues. It feels like an extension of my theater personality. ,
