According to a report in Hindustan Times, the cast and crew were scheduled to begin a seven-day schedule in Delhi from November 12. However, deteriorating air quality index (AQI) and rising tension after the blast prompted the makers to shelve the plan.
A source told the publication, “Shahid was to come along with Kriti and Rashmika to shoot in Delhi from November 12. The makers had planned an elaborate schedule in Delhi for seven days starting from November 12. The air pollution crisis is also one of the reasons. And then the increased tension after the Delhi blasts also led to this decision. The team had also planned a schedule in the Old Delhi area, so there are many factors that have gone into the decision.”
The source further clarified that the Delhi event has only been postponed, not cancelled. “The makers are now planning to shoot in December, if everything goes well,” he said. The exact rescheduled dates have not been decided yet and will reportedly be finalized by the end of this month.
