A source told “NH Studios under the leadership of Mr Narendra Hirawat and Shreyans Hirawat has made one of the biggest catalog acquisitions in recent times by acquiring the rights to a huge range of films from Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films. The deal is reported to be worth a staggering amount of Rs 3 crore.”

The source further added, “As part of its strategic plans, NH Studios is set to bring back the iconic blockbuster 3 idiots With a grand re-release in theaters on September 4, 2026, audiences will once again get a chance to experience one of the most loved films of Indian cinema on the big screen.”
interesting thing 3 idiots will hit theaters during Teacher’s Day week, making the timing especially opportune given the film’s memorable portrayal of student life. The re-release also coincides with producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s birthday, which falls on September 5, the same day as Teachers’ Day.
