To start, the film was not passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) examination committee. Bengal files The revival committee (RC) was probably referred to due to its content. RC passed the film but sought some changes.
RC asked the manufacturers to remove the words ‘contempt’ against the transgender community and replace them with appropriate words. Similarly, paintings of major personalities were removed and replaced. According to RC’s instructions, the makers presented assistant documents for the historical events shown in the film. The producers also provided an consent letter from the parents of the child actors in the film. Finally, disconnection was painted with a large font and a voiceover.
Once these changes were made, CBFC passed the film with a ‘A’ certificate. The duration of the film, as stated on the sensor certificate, is 204.30 minutes. In other words, Bengal files 3 hours 24 minutes and 30 seconds.
The sensor certificate was handed over to the manufacturers on 25 June 2025. Nearly two months later, on 26 August, the manufacturers once again approached CBFC to make voluntary changes in 29 places. The dialogue ‘age 100’ was ‘changed into an old woman, who is dementia.’ A photo was added to a phone scene, while another place, a phone video was replaced. Dialogue ‘Bharat Ko ek din iska bahut bada harzana dena padega‘was reduced. The name Gopal Mukhopadhyay was removed at many places.
In addition, a view of the vulture and the child was removed, while in another scene, an owl scene was added. The manufacturers also changed the lesson in many scenes.
The manufacturers made two additions – the duration of the newspaper’s view increased from one second. In another scene, the lesson and newspaper scene was added to the second view, and this runtime is 68 seconds.
In this way, the manufacturers deleted 1 minute 42 seconds, while they added 1 minute 44 seconds. Consequently, revised length Bengal files 204.32 minutes, or 3 hours, 24 minutes and 32 seconds.
Bengal files The longest Bollywood film is a long time. It is a minute long Animal (2023) and compared to a 4 -minute dramatic version Pushpa 2 (2024). It consists of Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Saswata Chatterjee and others. It is set to release on 5 September.
