Exclusive: CBFC censors Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez’s erotic scenes in Welcome to the Jungle; replaces ‘blind’ with ‘loose’; ‘Kashmir Ka Paani’ dialogue has been removed

Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed welcome to the jungle U/A 16+ with dialogue. However, the producers were asked to make several changes. Dialogue ‘Born black is coal’ was replaced by ‘He is born simple, he is a model’. A 10 second scene containing these words ‘No given’ Was asked to remove it. The word ‘bad’ was replaced with a suitable word at two places. Similarly, the word ‘Azaruddin’ was replaced with ‘Alauddin’.

Asked to remove the dialogue ‘Kashmir ke paani’. Dialogue’remember Sacrifice, fill your mouth with water’ was replaced by ‘The mouth of the one who was going to be martyred ‘I will fill the water’. ‘Blind’ was replaced by ‘Loose’ while dialogue ‘Desh Ki Tatti’ Was asked to remove it. Then, ‘take respect’ was replaced by ‘This is to go with you…’‘Gorkha Regiment’ was replaced by ‘You Army be from?’. ‘General’ was dropped and replaced with ‘Officer’ and ‘Sir’, wherever it appeared in the film.

Now, coming to the scene deletion. The cut list states that the producers ‘removed and replaced erotic bikini scenes, female hip passing scenes and hip movement scenes wherever they were in the song.’ At one point, it specifically mentions that Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez’s erotic scenes have been removed. Finally, the scenes with ‘obscene’ hand gestures were replaced with close-up shots of Vindu Dara Singh.

In short, the CBFC asked for 14 changes. Once these modifications are made, the manufacturer welcome to the jungle Censor certificate was handed over on 20 June.
