Shortly after, it was revealed that Meenakshi Chaudhary had signed as a female manager of the film and that the manufacturers aimed to take the floors towards the end of 2026. And now we have another exclusive and exciting update for all fans of John Abraham. According to sources close to development, John Abraham is in advanced talks with the director of Tehran for a shoot in the context of Mahabharata.
A sharing source, “John Abraham discussed a shoot in the context of Mahabharata but in the modern era. The director Arun Gopalan (renowned of Tehran) developed a script of Mahabharata in the modern era, and John is overthrown by the scenario and the vision that ARUN has to adapt the greatest history of all time in modern times. The source also informs that the John should play the role of Duryodhana in this film.
“The film is temporarily titled Duryodhana, and will take place in the middle of 2026. It will be produced by John Abraham and Sandeep Leyzell, and pre-production work will start at the beginning of next year, with the intention of going to the soil around June 2026,” added the source.
John Abraham simultaneously reads several other scripts and has also kept it under the development of his own banner. “John focuses on high concept action films and wants to do things that offer new experience to the cinema public.
