On the occasion, the actor shared a heartfelt note on social media, in which he talked about the physical challenges he faced during the shoot and thanked those who stood by him during the grueling schedule. Without revealing details about the film, Rashi recalled the experience, saying that it was the moments away from the camera that stayed with him the most.
Raashi Khanna said, “I’ve always believed that every schedule teaches you something, and this reminded me how much strength comes from the people around you. Falling sick in the middle of a shoot is never ideal, and there were moments when I really had to push myself physically. But then you get a hug from your nephew, a call from family, or everyone from the unit asking if you’re okay, and suddenly the day feels lighter. We had some injuries along the way, and it was not the easiest schedule I’ve done, but when I think about completing this stage of the film, I think about gratitude. Those are the memories that stay with you even after the cameras are off.”
The actor’s post offered a glimpse of the tough nature of the shoot, revealing that he continued filming despite falling ill and suffering minor injuries during the schedule. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the untitled comedy brings together Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan once again, while also reuniting Bazmee with Akshay after a long gap. The film also stars Vijay Raaz, Zakir Hussain and Sudesh Lehri in lead roles. Although the makers have not yet unveiled the title or first look of the film, the project has generated a lot of buzz for its cast and Bazmee’s return to the comedy genre.
