Exclusive: Ranveer Singh and Jai Mehta are temporarily titled Pralay; Zombie film in the post-apocalyptic world

IHNS was the first to point out that Ranveer Singh discusses a zombie film with Jai Mehta with the intention of taking it on the floors in 2026. We also informed our readers that the film will be produced by Applause Entertainment, and the pre-production work was in full swing. And now we have exclusively learned that Ranveer Singh and Jai Mehta have temporarily locked a title for this post-apocalyptic film based on zombies.

A sharing source, “Ranveer Singh According to is temporarily titled Pralay. The title is synchronized with the world of the film, which is affected by an unexpected disaster – both natural and crazy. Although Pralay’s world is different from everything that is seen before, the film is more a human story based on distance for a man to save his family in the most difficult circumstances. The source also informs that Ranveer is extremely launched by the script and discusses several daily aspects with Jai Mehta and the team of writers.

The source adds: “Ranveer should start shooting for the movie Jai Mehta of the second half of 2026 once he concluded the shooting for Don 3. It is a film that requires prolonged pre-production because manufacturers will aim to create a new full world. The tone of the film is in terms of the First World War and I am a legend, where the main man must fight several ailments for the good of his family. We hear, the manufacturers are looking to launch a best actor in the list A to play the main female role alongside Ranveer Singh.
