In a touching gesture, the actor will privately show the trailer to Major Shaitan Singh Bhati’s son, Narpat Singh Ji and his family before unveiling it publicly. Directed by Rajneesh “Rezzi” Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment in association with Trigger Happy Studios, 120 brave Farhan Akhtar plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh and Raashi Khanna plays his wife Shagun Kanwari Singh. The film narrates the heroic defense of Rezang La during the Indo-China War of 1962, where 120 soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment – all from the Ahir community – held out against a 3000-strong Chinese army, and suffered over 1300 casualties despite being overwhelmingly outnumbered.
Major Shaitan Singh Bhati was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honour, for his extraordinary bravery. 120 brave It aims to bring his story and the bravery of his people to a new generation of audiences. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on November 21, 2025.
