The parallel to his story is Mahadev, an unemployed youth who is desperately trying to get a permanent job. Repeated failures push him towards morally uncertain choices as he searches for a way to improve his situation. A local pickpocket also gets entangled in their lives, adding another layer to the series of events that unfold.
When Mahadev and the thieves unexpectedly disrupt Boseman’s plans, the three find themselves caught in a chaotic mix of survival, chance, and unintended consequences.

The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Arvind Swami in co-lead roles, with Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth Jadhav, Mahesh Manjrekar, Usha Nadkarni and Priyadarshini Indalkar in lead roles.
The film is co-produced, written and directed by Kishore Pandurang Belekar. It is also co-produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Rajesh Kejriwal, Gurupal Sachar and Mira Chopra under the banners of Zee Studios, Curious and Moviemill.
The silent film features a musical track and a background score composed by AR Rahman, while Karan B. Rawat is handling the cinematography. Additionally, Ashish Mhatre serves as editor.
Ahead of its theatrical release in India, Gandhi Talks was premiered at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on January 27, 2023.
