After the demise of famous singer Asha Bhosle, the process of paying tribute continues from all over the world. Among those remembering the iconic voice was WWE superstar and Hollywood actor John Cena, who shared a photo of the late singer on his official Instagram account as a mark of respect.

Actress Priyanka Chopra also reacted to Cena’s post in the comments section, writing “Queen”. Many Indian users responded to the tribute, thanking Cena for remembering one of India’s most famous music personalities.
Asha Bhosle died on April 12, 2026 in Mumbai at the age of 92. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital a day earlier after suffering from a chest infection and extreme exhaustion. Reports said that he died due to multi organ failure.
His body was kept at his residence Casa Grande in Lower Parel before the cremation on April 13 was held with full state honors at the Shivaji Park crematorium. The place holds sentimental significance for the family as his sister Lata Mangeshkar was also cremated here.
The funeral was attended by many prominent personalities from the world of film, music and sports, including Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar, Tabu, Asha Parekh, Riteish Deshmukh and AR Rahman, who gathered to pay their last tribute.
