Jolly LLB 3 Box Office 3rd Wednesday: Arshad Warsi starrer Akshay Kumar continues downward trajectory, grossing Rs 55 lakh

Jolly LLB 3 saw a decline after ticket prices returned to normal and added around Rs 50 lakh to Rs 60 lakh on its third Wednesday, after a hike on discounted Tuesday. The courtroom drama grossed Rs 105.80 crore in 20 days of theatrical run.

Launched with Rs 12 crore, Jolly LLB 3 had a good weekend but could not maintain the same momentum. It started crawling at the box office from the third weekend, with the arrival of Kantara: Chapter 1 in theaters. As per current trends, the film will end its theatrical run at Rs 110 crore nett, which is a decent ending for an Akshay Kumar film.

In comparison, Sitaare Zameen Par started its business on a similar note and went on to become a successful venture, bagging a theatrical production around Rs 165 crore nett in India. A similar box office fate was expected with Jolly LLB 3, which did not happen. At one point, even the triple digits seemed difficult to reach, but he regained strength by the second week with good progress.

The courtroom drama is all set to conclude its run at the box office with an average verdict, on par with that of Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2.
