Kantara: Chapter 1 performed well at the Indian box office on its second Monday, collecting Rs. Approximately 15.25 crores. The drop is about 40 percent less than Friday, which is normal for this course. While in the first week, Mondays may be boosted by spillover from the weekend, in later weeks, when demand stabilizes, films fall into the normal trajectory, and Kantara is doing the same.
The total box office collection after twelve days of release was Rs. About 515 crores. The second week is headed towards Rs. 170 crore or more, which will take it beyond Rs. 550 crores till Thursday. The film will cross Rs. Earned Rs 600 crore in the third weekend. From there, will it surpass Chava to become the highest grossing film of the year and earn Rs. Will reach. The figure of Rs 700 crore will depend on how well it collects during Diwali.

In Karnataka, the film took its biggest performance so far on the second Monday, earning Rs. Approximately 5.50 crores. The previous record was held by the original Kantara and from here on both these films will compete for the daily record. The total earning in the state is now Rs. 169.50 crores, and is likely to become the highest grossing film of all time in Karnataka today.
The film holds up elsewhere too, although APTS perhaps could have done a little better. It will cross Rs. 50 crore in Tamil Nadu today, and Kerala will soon follow. The Hindi version is on track to reach Rs. 200 crore nett, although once again this depends on how it performs during the Diwali period.
