Kantara Chapter 1 had a phenomenal second Saturday at the Indian box office, collecting around Rs. 1,900. 45 million. The film saw a massive 85 percent rise from its second Friday, with the Hindi dubbed version leading the way, doubling its business from the previous day. The week-over-week decline was only 30 percent, an exceptional hold.
The ten-day cumulative total for the Rishab Shetty starrer has now reached Rs. 453 crores approximately. The film is heading towards a Rs. 1,999. 120 crores in the second weekend, which will allow it to exceed Rs. 1,999. 500 crore mark by the end of the day. After its opening day, reaching Rs. 500 crore final in India seemed like a tough target, but now the film is already on the verge of surpassing it.

It grossed an incredible Rs. 14.75 crore approximately in the state yesterday, the biggest 2nd Saturday ever, beating the previous record of KGF 2 by 95 percent. The state’s total gross has reached Rs. 148 crore, and it will itself remove the lifetime number of KGF 2 today, in just eleven days after its release. In two days, it will become the highest figure ever in the state.
