The much-awaited fantasy comedy NagzillaBacked by Dharma Productions and Mahavir Jain Films, it has been officially postponed to its previous release date. The film, starring Kartik Aryan in the lead, was initially scheduled to release in theaters on August 14, 2026, coinciding with the Independence Day weekend – a lucrative slot for big Bollywood releases.

However, the makers have now decided to push the release of the film, with the new target being Valentine’s Day weekend on February 12, 2027.
NagzillaDirected by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, the film is a VFX-heavy project, with the actor playing the role of a shape-shifting serpent.
The film marks an important collaboration between Kartik Aryan and filmmaker-producer Karan Johar as well as producer Mahavir Jain. It has already generated a lot of buzz for its unique concept and scale.
With its new release planned to coincide with Valentine’s Day weekend, Nagzilla It is now expected to target a different audience, relying on a mix of fantasy, comedy and romance to draw viewers to the theatres.
The postponement of the film also means that it will not clash with the Sunny Deol starrer. Lahore 1947Scheduled to release on 13th August. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, this film is made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions.
Nagzilla Directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, who is known for making three successful films Fukre Franchise. Preeti Mukundan is opposite Karthik in the film.
