Colie has become the fifth most profitable Kollywood film of all time, going beyond all time. Rajinikanth’s star won Rs. 463.50 crores worldwide from yesterday, with Rs. 294.50 crore from the domestic market and Rs. 169 crore (USD 19.35 million).
This will probably be the last position of the film on the list of all time, because it seems unlikely to exceed Ponniyin Selvan: I in fourth place. The three films in advance on COOPOLE are 2.0, Leo and Jailler, each has cleared on Rs. 600 crores in the world. The expectations for Colie were to join these three, perhaps even to fill them. While the film began to get there, the mixed reception kept it short, and now it even seems to miss the RS. 500 crores.
