Allu Arjun is currently working on the film Raaka directed by Atlee. Next, the actor will collaborate with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the tentatively titled AA23 (LK07), with the film’s co-writer Rathna Kumar sharing details about the project.

Speaking to Galatta Plus, Ratna Kumar said, “I think it’s a proper pan-Indian film, not because of the stars, the central character or the setting, but because the story has a lot of international appeal.”
The filmmaker further said, “When allu arjun Sir is making the film, we can get whatever we need to shape it the way we want. It was very exciting to interact with him. The work is going on fast. We have already spent three weeks in discussions with them and the work will start in the second week of May.

AA23 is an upcoming action film starring Allu Arjun in the lead role. In the teaser, the actor is seen wearing the iconic silver bangle often featured in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s films, hinting towards a stylish, western-inspired tone.
Anirudh Ravichander will compose the songs and background score for the film, which will be his first collaboration with Allu Arjun. Additionally, “23 Themes” written by Heisenberg has gone viral on Instagram Reels.
Apart from Lokesh’s previous films like Leo and Vikram, writers Ratna Kumar and Chandru Anbazhagan (Managaram) are co-writing the script. This film will also be Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut in Telugu cinema.
Allu Arjun’s work front
After the massive success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun will be in the limelight Raka. The magnum opus directed by Atlee is expected to feature extensive CGI and VFX, making it a technically ambitious project.
In the first look, Arjun is seen in an animal-like avatar, which resembles a werewolf. Although more details have yet to be revealed, they are expected to play a quadruple role in exploring the concept of parallel universes.
Deepika Padukone has been confirmed as the co-lead, while Rashmika Mandanna is expected to appear as the antagonist. Additionally, Sai Abhyankar is composing the film’s music and background score.
